Abstract: The problems of optimization of Al alloy mold pouring upon vacuum sucking casting (VSC) are considered. A discrete changing in the gas-dynamic coefficient β of the instant the flow passing through areas with sharp variations of sections of mold cavity is envisaged upon realization of optimum controlling. Variation of β values is being provided by consequent engagement of diaphragms with different passing sections in the vacuum line. The equations are deduced to determine the values of β for different areas of mold cavity.
