Геронтообразование как фактор гуманизации этоса третьего возраста

Abstract

Описывается специфика этоса третьего возраста и обосновывается роль геронтообразования в гуманизации старости. Указывается на то, что этос третьего возраста воплощает нравственные основания образа жизни, социально-коммуникативного пространства, а также иерархию ценностей пожилых людей. Предлагаются две оппозитные модели проживания старости. Рассматривается геронтообразование в современной России как формирующийся социальный институт, направленный на гуманизацию старости.

The purpose of the article is to reveal specifics of an ethos of the third age and to prove the role of gerontological education in humanizing the elderly. The Ethos of the third age embodies the moral foundationsт of a way of life, social and communicative environment, and also the hierarchy of values of elderly people. The authors offer two opposite models of living as an elderly person. Gerontological education is considered as a factor to humanize the ethos of the third age in the positive model. The authors believe that gerontological education in modern Russia is developing as a social institute which is aimed at humanizing the elderly
