| Abstract: | The article analyzes central version of the protagonist in ‘poems in prose’ of the 1920s – the popular leader of the revolution/mass uprising. The author revisits the ideological interpretation of this type of in Soviet literary scholarship. The author uses for the analysis a wide range of texts some of which were rarely noticed in literary studies. |
