| Abstract: | The motif of a lack (absence, void, lacunae) is typical for the modernist literature, and it found a new reflection in the prison-camp literature. Inexpressible becomes here a stable topoi standing for the sensation that cannot be articulated by the means of a language and does not have references in the reader's experience. |
