| Abstract: | The features of the bulat steel melting technology are explained by metastable initial crystallization of Fe-C melts, which starts from volume-dispersed delta-phase. The variant of corresponding metastable phase diagram is suggested on the basis of previous research. The diagram includes liquid-liquid critical point and monotectic triple point. |
