Аннотация: Abstract: The problem of determining the temperature fields of strikers with various designs (with and without channels) of the combined system for continuous casting and deformation in the production of steel sheets for welded pipes has been posed and solved. The calculations of the striker’s temperature field by solving the problem of non-stationary heat conduction is performed for two variants of boundary conditions. The results of temperature calculations are given for four sections of the striker and four characteristic lines. The regularities of temperature distribution over striker thickness and near-contact layer during slab compression and at idle have been established. The influence of channels for cooling the striker on the behavior of a temperature distribution over thickness and length of the striker with channels has been assessed. The regularities have been found for a change in the temperature of contact surface and near-contact layer of the striker without channels with time during the production of continuous casting and deformation of steel sheets for welded pipes. © 2023, Allerton Press, Inc.
