Abstract: Abstract: Problems in the field of metallurgical engineering have been identified. A production scheme for steel hollow blanks using a combined casting and deformation unit has been proposed. The stress state of the dies–hollow billets system has been studied. The distribution of temperature and thermoelastic stresses in the dies of the unit when obtaining steel hollow billets is shown. Approximate parameters of an industrial combined casting and deformation unit for producing steel hollow billets are given. © Allerton Press, Inc. 2024.
