Abstract: The research of motivational complex, level and character of motivation of students of bachelor degree of State University of management is presented. In psychology, motivation is considered as a complex regulator of human behavior and activity, a multi-layered, heterogeneous system of "drives" interconnected in a nonlinear way. The authors of the article explore the motivation as an indicator of the quality of the system of education at the University, the basic factor of individual success and self-development of the student, the driving force of the educational process. The article analyzes the reasons for the lack of educational motivation. A number of methods of optimization of interest in the study of University students. The results of measuring the level of motivation and the structure of the motivational complex are presented and visualized. The study uses the following methods: a survey by the method of A. A. Rean; a survey by questionnaire V. S. Yurkevich, modified by the authors. The results of the evaluation of the quality of education are presented on the author's scale. The proposals on the use of the level and structure of motivation to study undergraduate students as indicators of the quality of education are formulated.
